1. Problems / Goals

<aside> 💡 The CSV import feature is a core feature in Kudosi, allowing merchants to upload existing reviews via a CSV file.

Problems

• Over 30% of support tickets are related to the CSV import feature, mainly due to performance issues, errors, and an unintuitive user experience.
• The current import process lacks clarity, making it difficult for merchants to navigate.
• Overly detailed instructions create confusion, increasing errors and slowing down the import process.

Existing UI/UX challenges

• Unclear alert and error messages
• Confusing wording and labels
• Technical limitations affecting content display and behavior

Business goal (OKR)

Reduce the system-related failure rate of the CSV import feature from 30% to 10%.

2. Our Process (2 weeks)

1. Conducted UX research and competitor analysis to explore solutions and evaluate feature feasibility before development.
2. Product designers and UX writers worked closely to create an improved CSV import flow.
3. Developers implemented the new design.
4. Monitored performance improvements and analyzed data to measure success.
5. Conducted a retrospective meeting to reflect on learnings and identify areas for future improvements.
